Elder Larson ~ Texas to Argentina

What's up yall how have ya been? I'm gonna start off this week by saying this email is gonna be all over the place, so put on your seatbelts. First and foremost we did some exchanges with the elderes del norte, and that was interesting. We had like 15 minutes to do some finding, and we pulled up to an apartment complex and Southam was like what stairwell does your gut feel? And I chose one that I was feeling impressed, and we found a lady who spoke no english haha, and she's interested! And my spanish didnt fail me! It was so sick. I got into a bash with a guy, it was pretty solid. Born again christian guy. He hit me with the "if I got stabbed and had 3 minutes to live, what could I do to get Salvation?" question, so I taught him the plan of salvation and bashed him, it was hype. What's up yall? We had a super super super sick week out here in Arlington haha, yall are gonna wanna read this one for sure. Eh maybe not, nothing crazy but I was super stoked about this week. Yall already know we did a ton of service haha, that was cool and stuff, but I'm kinda getting tired of the manual labor. Me and Quinlan have been booling, this has been the best transfer of my mission no doubt. About the subject I have been giving the fellas in the zone fades and its honestly too much fun haha. There is something so satisfying about cutting hair. And I'll take all the practice that I can get. We had a lesson with our boy Jose this week! That was so sick, he lives in Fort Worth, my old zone so we got to go over there and teach him it was hype! We taught the Gospel of Jesus Christ, invited him to be baptized, and put him on date for August 22nd haha. Yesterday. What's up team? Guess what, some big changes are coming out here in Arlington, well nothing is set in stone yet. But basically we got a call from President this morning, and Elder Quinlan(my comp), is going to be training next transfer. We do not know what this entails quite yet, but there is likely going to be some changes going down, I perhaps might be leaving Arlington, we'll see tho. I'm super nervous to see what is going to happen at the end of the transfer, I don't want to leave Arlington, but I am cool with whatever at this point. Hopefully I keep getting to speak some Spanish. We don't know anything yet. That's about the most exciting thing that has happened this week. We found out that a foundation that collectively as a zone we do tons of service for has been talking trash about us, thats fun. It's been fun getting to know the people out here, they are all so genuine, and down to earth I love it. It's been kind of a hectic week, we did like 35 hours of service haha. I am saddened to announce that here in Texas we are starting to go back into covid lock down, but on the bright side Argentina is starting to make plays and open up. Hopefully. Stuff has been going super good here in the area. We didnt have much time to do a whole lot of finding, but our area has been seeing crazy miracles. We met with a 10 year old boy, and he is ready to be baptized, we just need to do the lessons with him. I might not come home empty handed yall haha. What's up yall how are ya doing? Stuff has been hectic out here in Fort Worth, haha, hope everything is well with yall. Arlington 8b is popping off rn haha. I just wanna update yall on the weather real quick. Yesterday it was 110°, and then a thunderstorm came through and it dropped to 73° in a little over an hour. It was the most wild storm I've ever seen in my life, and surely with a temperature drop like that it had to have been a tornado, right? Nah, my hunt to see a tornado continues, but it was the dopest storm I've ever seen. We also did 43 hours of service this week, which is a new record for me. My body hurts. This lady had us move 4 full storage units of stuff, to another storage unit. I counted we had to move 11 couches. Yall she had so much stuff it was unreal.
