Elder Larson ~ Texas to Argentina

Whats up everybodyy? How yall been? Hope yall had a peachy keen week! Its been a good week here in Independencia, just kinda vibing haha, working hard, enjoying my time in Argentina! We've been walking around all week, its been a vibe, probably walked like 30 kilometros haha. It was good, we saw a bunch of success, found some solid people.  Had some exchanges with the boys in San Ignacio, that was fun. My boy elder Lewis was dying haha, so we had to go save him from his comp. Had some fun lessons, I ran the joke that I was from Chile the whole time and got away with it. My spanish is evolving to a whole other level. Had the baptism of Carlos this week! It was such a sweet experience! He is a capo, so glad I got to meet him and his fam. Literally no one showed up to the baptism, but that happens haha. The water was freezing cold bro, winter sucks here. I'm happy to be here. Did some exchanges with the boys in Joaquin V Gonzalez, which is a 5 hour bus ride. Muito bom. It was sick, its a tiny town in the middle of nowhere. such sick vibes. It was so chill out there. Thats where you go to catch the Golden Dorado for all yall fishermen out there. Good exchanges tho, really had me remeniscing on my time in Concepcion, I miss those small town vibes. We also had a talent show activity, and we dressed up as vaqueros(argentinian cowboys) and sang "Adios Amor" which is a sad mariache song, it was so sick Ive been vibing a lot with the poncho recently, cuz its been cold. It has been a pretty boring week to be honest with you, nothing too crazy haha.  Had exchanges with Elder Zaro, he is from the Bay Área, it was pretty fun.  Other then that a ton of walking this week. Bc of my wrist they dont want me on the bike, so that sucked. We visited a lot of people, found a ton of people, but for the moment we dont really have anyone progressing. Its been kind of frustrating. What can you do? On Saturday every single appointment fell through. Then we ran into one of our craziest members, Miriam, and we went and visited her neighbors. It was crazy. We knocked like 3 random doors and taught the restoration and all of them were really interested. Then while we were walking back, Miriam was like we need to knock this door. Whats up yall? How have you been? Its been an interesting week, I have no idea if it was good or bad. A mix of both probably. Lets hop in: We had MLC in person, that was crazy cuz our mission pres doesnt believe in socializing. Elder Houston went home, he made it! I am now with Elder Colby, who is the exact opposite of Elder Houston. We will see how it goes. We had a baptism on Housts last day, that was way hype! It was of Bruno, our ex drug dealer friend¡ that was super exciting! Anyways I got hit by a motorcycle. I am fine. My bike is a little busted, I am mostly just pissed. Drivers in Argentina and especially motorcyclists play this game where they like to get as close as possible to bikers, so I looked over the shoulder to check if anyone was there, naturally turned a little bit and he hit me, knocked me off the bike.
