Transfers and Stuff

What's up everybody?


It has most certainly been an interesting week out here in the DFW. And by interesting I mean really boring and even more frustrating, gotta love it. Only about 600 more days of getting bashed on facebook, and I am already sick of it,  but who’s counting?!

We went to dinner at our bishops yesterday, and they are a really tall family, like almost Larson tall and so we went to the bathroom to wash our hands, and the light switch was literally at eye level to Elder Thurgood haha I wont let him live that one down.

We also had transfers this week, and that has been interesting. We picked up a new guy, Elder Morris, so now we are in a trio. That's been really fun. He’s a little more laid back and Thurgood only wants to edit videos. It's kinda an interesting dynamic when the kid who's been out for 4 weeks is pushing everyone to go and do missionary work haha.

We set up a lesson with a guy named Jim for December 4th, and I am excited to actually teach an investigator, let's hope it comes together.  I guess the hunt for my first lesson with an investigator continues.

Our new member Emmanuel has gone missing in action, it has been super sad. He won't respond to our calls and we went to his house and no one answered. Super sad to see that. 

Funny story, we had an apartment study together, and we discussed the topic of the fall. Thurgood has this radical view that God isn't perfect because he gave Adam and Eve contradicting commandments. The four of us all agreed that they  weren't contradicting commandments because the Atonement of Christ allowed them to return to God's presence one day, but Thurgood refused to accept that as an answer. It was a calm discussion, then all of a sudden Thurgood storms out all mad and literally none of us reacted, we were just like alright closing prayer Wilhelm.

You know I am getting tired of writing up these weeklies haha, but you know i havent missed a weekly in 2 years so imma stick with it haha. Hope yall have been thriving back home and in your missions! Been a good week. The most exciting thing was seeing all of our hard work over the past couple months fall into place, we were able to put 4 baptismal dates for this week, they are pretty solid as well! We need your prayers for Alumine, Jose, Veronica, and Maximo, so that everything goes good for their baps this week!! Wrist machine broke

Whats up everybodyy? How yall been? Hope yall had a peachy keen week! Its been a good week here in Independencia, just kinda vibing haha, working hard, enjoying my time in Argentina! We've been walking around all week, its been a vibe, probably walked like 30 kilometros haha. It was good, we saw a bunch of success, found some solid people.  Had some exchanges with the boys in San Ignacio, that was fun. My boy elder Lewis was dying haha, so we had to go save him from his comp. Had some fun lessons, I ran the joke that I was from Chile the whole time and got away with it. My spanish is evolving to a whole other level. Had the baptism of Carlos this week! It was such a sweet experience! He is a capo, so glad I got to meet him and his fam. Literally no one showed up to the baptism, but that happens haha. The water was freezing cold bro, winter sucks here. I'm happy to be here. ¡Y ahí nos vemos mi reina!

Sup yall? How have yall been doin? Hope that all is going well wherever yall be at! Been a good week, just been vibing out here, working really hard, being obedient and stuff yall already know. Did some exchanges with the boys in Joaquin V Gonzalez, which is a 5 hour bus ride. Muito bom. It was sick, its a tiny town in the middle of nowhere. such sick vibes. It was so chill out there. Thats where you go to catch the Golden Dorado for all yall fishermen out there. Good exchanges tho, really had me remeniscing on my time in Concepcion, I miss those small town vibes. We also had a talent show activity, and we dressed up as vaqueros(argentinian cowboys) and sang "Adios Amor" which is a sad mariache song, it was so sick Ive been vibing a lot with the poncho recently, cuz its been cold. I really rock with the poncho mate mix, way hype. I have been loving the vibes up here recently.
