The Quint Mixup

What's up everybody?

What a week this has been. Really not a whole lot of anything is going on out here, we did about 15 hours of service this week so that was super dope. We have been really busy, so I will take that. We also sit through a lot of long meetings and trainings, so you gotta love that, whatever gets you away from facebook I guess.

Couple of highlights for the week. The Christmas devotional was amazing. I loved Jeffrey R Hollands talk, especially when he mentioned Mosiah 14: 3-6, I love those scriptures. We were doing service for the Boyer family, and there was an old guy there, I dont remember his name, and he was like where you from? So i told him Farmington and he was like what stake? Turns out that this guy was the Area 70 over Farmington and Centerville, so my old stake President got a picture of me and my comps haha.

Couple of not highlights for the week. Ericka from Christ Havens, the food pantry we do a lot of service at, is moving to Costa Rica. That is kinda sad, she's really fun to work with. Also Elder Wilhelm got sent to Germany finally, congrats to him, I'm pretty jealous, not gonna lie. I am still in the same trio as before, but Elder John got a new comp named Elder Sutton. Super nice guy, but we kinda needed Wilhelm to keep John's ego in check, so it's a blast, not really but oh well.

Had interviews with President Chapman this week, that went super well for me, but my companion must have found out he is getting transferred out of the zone this transfer or something, cuz he wasn’t too happy. He wouldn’t tell us what was going on, so there’s that.

Elder Morris on the other hand has been a delight. It's kinda hard keeping him motivated to do stuff, but he is awesome. Super funny, super good teacher, and he also doesn't like cheese. My kinda guy, what a beast. It sounds like it's just gonna be me and him in Avondale next transfer, super exciting.

Anyways hope y'all are doing well! Oh and I guess it is Christmas season as well, that's pretty exciting! Definitely don't go and get 3 Christmas trees for your already crowded apartment. Till next week.

Love yourz
