Crisis

Hi everyone!

How's yalls week been? Mine has been an absolute gem lemme tell ya. As far as missionary work goes, nothing happened, I think this might have been the slowest week of the mission up to this point, every week just continues to outdo the last one tho haha.

In terms of drama, you already know that this week has been filled with it haha. I'm not gonna get into it here, so if you really care enough about the monstrosity that is our apartment, send me an email and I'll be happy to fill you in hahaha. 

It was actually kinda a depressing week, cuz we were stuck inside all day, it was raining all week, and there was a super creepy/ominous fog for like 3 days this week, it was super gloomy and sad.

I'm still tryna stay positive though of course, and I'm always still tryna have a bit of fun no matter what, only 10 more days until transfers and this nightmare ends at least. On the brighter side of things, a bunch of Elders are gonna be getting back to the Argentina Buenos Aires missions, so there's hope that I might make it some day.

A fat thunderstorm came through this morning, and it was wild for like a half hour this morning, then like a half hour later you walked out and there was no sign of any clouds anywhere, wack. That made our game of football a whole lot more fun, nothing quite like a muddy game of football.

The big issue this week has been dishes. We ran completely out of washer detergent as well as soap, so we are completely out of dishes as of rn, so that's been kinda a bummer, could be worse problems though. I also discovered a correlation in my companions behavior, whenever I beat him in 8 ball or in basketball, he doesn't talk to me for a couple days, so I've had to throw in some intentional losses haha.

You know I am getting tired of writing up these weeklies haha, but you know i havent missed a weekly in 2 years so imma stick with it haha. Hope yall have been thriving back home and in your missions! Been a good week. The most exciting thing was seeing all of our hard work over the past couple months fall into place, we were able to put 4 baptismal dates for this week, they are pretty solid as well! Whats up everybodyy? How yall been? Hope yall had a peachy keen week! Its been a good week here in Independencia, just kinda vibing haha, working hard, enjoying my time in Argentina! We've been walking around all week, its been a vibe, probably walked like 30 kilometros haha. It was good, we saw a bunch of success, found some solid people.  Had some exchanges with the boys in San Ignacio, that was fun. My boy elder Lewis was dying haha, so we had to go save him from his comp. Had some fun lessons, I ran the joke that I was from Chile the whole time and got away with it. My spanish is evolving to a whole other level. Had the baptism of Carlos this week! It was such a sweet experience! He is a capo, so glad I got to meet him and his fam. Literally no one showed up to the baptism, but that happens haha. The water was freezing cold bro, winter sucks here. I'm happy to be here. Sup yall? How have yall been doin? Hope that all is going well wherever yall be at! Been a good week, just been vibing out here, working really hard, being obedient and stuff yall already know. Did some exchanges with the boys in Joaquin V Gonzalez, which is a 5 hour bus ride. Muito bom. It was sick, its a tiny town in the middle of nowhere. such sick vibes. It was so chill out there. Thats where you go to catch the Golden Dorado for all yall fishermen out there. Good exchanges tho, really had me remeniscing on my time in Concepcion, I miss those small town vibes. We also had a talent show activity, and we dressed up as vaqueros(argentinian cowboys) and sang "Adios Amor" which is a sad mariache song, it was so sick Ive been vibing a lot with the poncho recently, cuz its been cold. I really rock with the poncho mate mix, way hype. I have been loving the vibes up here recently.
