Suffering from success💯💯

What's up everybody?

I hope all of yall are doing well, especially those of you who actually read these. It's been a bit of a crazy one here in the DFW haha. To be honest with you not a whole lot has happened this week but also everything has happened.

We did a little bit of disc golf proselyting haha, found a guys frisbee and we hit him up and played a game with him and ended up inviting him to church, he said that he'd be down to come, but he lives in another area, so we sent him to that church, idk what happened from there.

Gave a guy a Book of Mormon and a pass along card on MLK day, first one of the mission haha, only took 5 months haha. He seems super solid, hoping to get him to church this week we'll see. Most RMs would think those are rookie numbers, but that really has been the highlight of the whole mission.

The apartment has been out of control haha. Me and my comp have been getting along super well, and we kinda just mess around with Elder John. That guy is completely out of control and ruining all our lives haha. We troll him a lot cuz he's too not chill, but that just pokes the bear really.

On thursday we didnt see the bonds ranch elders for like 8 hours which was really weird cuz they are always home, so we gave em a call at like 10 o clock PM and they were like oh yeah Elder Sutton is in the ER. Told everybody in the zone except for the people in their apartment smh. He's doing not too hot tbh, I think he's been having heart problems, but they really cant leave the apartment now and he cant move too much but he's real tough, so he'll make it the last two weeks of his mission and then head home. Even though Elder John keeps calling President tryna send him home early smh.

I've found that you cant get too caught up in taking everything so seriously, sometimes you just gotta have a good time with your comp, and that has made the mission so much more enjoyable. One of my least favorite stereotypes is that the members cant make jokes or have fun around us haha, 110% would recommend messing around with the local missionaries, turns out we're human too.(common misconception)

I've had a really good time getting to know the missionaries in this zone, they're all awesome. Went on exchanges with Elder Hawkes, dude has infinite wisdom, learned a lot of life lessons haha. Really feeling blessed with all the people in the Alliance zone this transfer.

Got to try some reallll fried chicken on p day, that stuff was incredible, it was called gus's chicken, tiny hole in the wall, sweetest place ever. Everybody in there was like family, kinda cliche, but I felt loved in that restaurant. 10/10 check out gus's chicken if you are ever in downtown fort worth, it's so good.

Anyways hope all of yall are doing splendid, I'm doing way better this week, the mission has its highs and lows I guess haha. Oh and btw Argentina might open up here soon!

Love yourz
