Historic storms n stuff

What's up yall?

I've been looking forward to writing this email haha, for once something exciting happened here. I dont even know where to begin, but I hope all yall are safe and warm.

Where to start, um how about the storm. As yall are probably aware, this week we got down to -2 degrees, with a wind chill of -24, which is the coldest it has been in the Dallas area in 125 years. Kinda wild. It didnt get above freezing until Sunday I think, it was wild. Rolling power outages, no clean water, no water pressure, pipes exploding and flooding, super sketchy driving conditions were just the tip of the iceberg haha. Long story short, we froze, went 5 days straight without being able to shower or do dishes or anything like that, and I had to ration 3 water bottles for my water for the week. Pretty miserable. Oh and all the churches baptismal font pipes exploded, and flooded the churches, so no church for a while, which sucks cuz we actually have 3 whole investigators now. I wish I could tell the whole story haha, it really was wild, but yall got lives so ima just end this story with saying it sucked, but we woke up on Sunday and it was 70 degrees and all the snow was gone overnight haha. We good now.

My spanish is improving a lot, I teach spanish to the other elders for an hour everyday, that's super fun. I'm gonna start teaching english connect again, not really that excited about it, but that's alright. We have a super solid spanish referral in our area, I'm finally gonna break out the Spanish restoration😤.

The area is absolutely booming rn. I set up about 20 services with nonmembers in our area through one facebook post haha, so we are gonna be busy. And we have found 2 more people who we could potentially teach, it's incredible. Of course now that I'm senior comp and training, all the stressful stuff comes up. I'm really stressed to say the least haha. Super excited though.

Went on exchanges with Elder Zentner this week, it was super sick. Elder Zentner is an absolute unit of a missionary, so it was super fun to see how they get out and do there work over there. We knocked some really interesting doors haha, tell yall another time this emails kinda long.

Our companionship is pretty good, we are working really hard, pretty night and day change from the last comp. Hes a really interesting fella to say the least, our personalities are really different but training is going along as good as can be expected (I hope!)

Anyways, this week was definitely a week to remember, and I really barely scratched the surface on it haha. Yall stay safe, maintain a good following distance, and dont go getting in 150 car pileups please. As always, I love all yall that read this far, have a wonderful week.

You know I am getting tired of writing up these weeklies haha, but you know i havent missed a weekly in 2 years so imma stick with it haha. Hope yall have been thriving back home and in your missions! Been a good week. The most exciting thing was seeing all of our hard work over the past couple months fall into place, we were able to put 4 baptismal dates for this week, they are pretty solid as well! Whats up everybodyy? How yall been? Hope yall had a peachy keen week! Its been a good week here in Independencia, just kinda vibing haha, working hard, enjoying my time in Argentina! We've been walking around all week, its been a vibe, probably walked like 30 kilometros haha. It was good, we saw a bunch of success, found some solid people.  Had some exchanges with the boys in San Ignacio, that was fun. My boy elder Lewis was dying haha, so we had to go save him from his comp. Had some fun lessons, I ran the joke that I was from Chile the whole time and got away with it. My spanish is evolving to a whole other level. Had the baptism of Carlos this week! It was such a sweet experience! He is a capo, so glad I got to meet him and his fam. Literally no one showed up to the baptism, but that happens haha. The water was freezing cold bro, winter sucks here. I'm happy to be here. Sup yall? How have yall been doin? Hope that all is going well wherever yall be at! Been a good week, just been vibing out here, working really hard, being obedient and stuff yall already know. Did some exchanges with the boys in Joaquin V Gonzalez, which is a 5 hour bus ride. Muito bom. It was sick, its a tiny town in the middle of nowhere. such sick vibes. It was so chill out there. Thats where you go to catch the Golden Dorado for all yall fishermen out there. Good exchanges tho, really had me remeniscing on my time in Concepcion, I miss those small town vibes. We also had a talent show activity, and we dressed up as vaqueros(argentinian cowboys) and sang "Adios Amor" which is a sad mariache song, it was so sick Ive been vibing a lot with the poncho recently, cuz its been cold. I really rock with the poncho mate mix, way hype. I have been loving the vibes up here recently.
