What. A. Week.

What's up everyone?

Crazy week here haha. Hope all yall are safe and warm. As yall probably know, the Texas Fort Worth area is currently in the midst of an apocalypse, which just so happens to be like 4 inches of snow maybe. More on that later.

Started off the week by teaching Erika on Monday, that was so sick! Taught her the restoration, it went super well, spirit was super strong and everything. Elder Morris read the first vision off the back of the pamphlet, while trying to cover it up by showing her a picture haha, that's about all that went wrong. Set up a return appointment Friday, and then she disappeared. Definitely gonna have to get back in contact with her.

The day after that we had a mini transfer, I'm still here in Avondale, and will be for 3 more months, kinda frustrating, but that's alright. I'm training though, and the greenie is pretty interesting. He's vegan keto, kinda a conspiracy theorist, and extremely into anime. Every time we leave a member meal after the members graciously made us vegan food, he always complains that "they are trying to poison me" kinda annoying, but besides that hes alright. Very granola personality, not really too much going on there. Oh and he only eats like dry oats and raw spinach. I don’t know how he's alive.

Then we had the cold hit us, and that's been pretty crazy. Right now while I'm writing this its 3 degrees, 69% humidity, and really windy, and feels like -17 haha. Super cold. Yall probably heard about the 130 car pile up here in Fort Worth, haha. I was driving where that happened a day before that, to go pick up the greenie. Texas ice is extremely scary to drive on, cuz it doesnt look or feel like there is ice, till you try to stop. Pretty terrifying first week as DD. 

Basically went full apocalypse mode out here, got the message that we were basically gonna quarantine for an undetermined amount of time, cuz the roads are unsafe. Bunch of power outages, the roads are completely empty, and there's like 3 inches of really dry powder haha. So we are currently spending  P day writing emails and stuff. I've been in pretty cold weather in my life, but there is nothing like -9 degrees in Texas. Yall really probably should pray for Texas, it's crazy out here. Probably the highlight of it all was when I might (or might not have) made snow angels in my trench rain coat and compression shorts, in -9 degree weather hahaha.

That's basically the majority of the week right there, Elder Belnap's greenie loves to be a smart alec, that's sick, Elder Belnap continues to be the funniest guy in the world, and Elder Ellis is currently wearing an anime costume. That's the dynamic right now hahaha. Its really pretty fun, especially since I'm one of the experienced missionaries in the bunch.

Oh and also Fort Worth is a pilot mission for a lot of the new aspects of technology use in missionary work, and so President made the announcement that every one in the whole mission will be learning Spanish, so now I get to teach Spanish for an hour a day and practice it for an hour a day it's so sick. Not to flex or anything but the General Authority's eyes are on our mission because we are experimenting with a lot of secret stuff haha, it's pretty wild.

Sorry yall this has been a long email, I didnt even really cover the half of my week, I love all yall, stay safe out there. Dont get in an 130 car pile up, that's pretty not safe. Have a wonderful week!

You know I am getting tired of writing up these weeklies haha, but you know i havent missed a weekly in 2 years so imma stick with it haha. Hope yall have been thriving back home and in your missions! Been a good week. The most exciting thing was seeing all of our hard work over the past couple months fall into place, we were able to put 4 baptismal dates for this week, they are pretty solid as well! Whats up everybodyy? How yall been? Hope yall had a peachy keen week! Its been a good week here in Independencia, just kinda vibing haha, working hard, enjoying my time in Argentina! We've been walking around all week, its been a vibe, probably walked like 30 kilometros haha. It was good, we saw a bunch of success, found some solid people.  Had some exchanges with the boys in San Ignacio, that was fun. My boy elder Lewis was dying haha, so we had to go save him from his comp. Had some fun lessons, I ran the joke that I was from Chile the whole time and got away with it. My spanish is evolving to a whole other level. Had the baptism of Carlos this week! It was such a sweet experience! He is a capo, so glad I got to meet him and his fam. Literally no one showed up to the baptism, but that happens haha. The water was freezing cold bro, winter sucks here. I'm happy to be here. Sup yall? How have yall been doin? Hope that all is going well wherever yall be at! Been a good week, just been vibing out here, working really hard, being obedient and stuff yall already know. Did some exchanges with the boys in Joaquin V Gonzalez, which is a 5 hour bus ride. Muito bom. It was sick, its a tiny town in the middle of nowhere. such sick vibes. It was so chill out there. Thats where you go to catch the Golden Dorado for all yall fishermen out there. Good exchanges tho, really had me remeniscing on my time in Concepcion, I miss those small town vibes. We also had a talent show activity, and we dressed up as vaqueros(argentinian cowboys) and sang "Adios Amor" which is a sad mariache song, it was so sick Ive been vibing a lot with the poncho recently, cuz its been cold. I really rock with the poncho mate mix, way hype. I have been loving the vibes up here recently.
