Need for Speed (and to get transferred)

What's up everybody? How yall doing? It's been wild out here in Fort worth. Haha just kidding I've really had the same week every week since I've gotten here. It's not a bad thing, stuff gets a bit monotonous and I know the members too well at this point haha.


Where do I even start? We have continued the trend of doing a ton of service, which has been good. It has been a lot of moving, which is probably not so good for my back. That's all good though. We've been able to get out a bunch, which has been good for my comp, he struggles when there’s nothing to do. Not ideal for a quarantine missionary to say the least.

As far as missionary work goes, there is no missionary work. It's been pretty rough, especially since I've contacted everyone we could possibly contact in our area about 3 or 4 times over. Pretty frustrating, but I'm over it.

Other than that, things are keeping me busy. They lined me up with 9 english connect students, about 8 more than I was expecting, so that is about 4.5 hours a day of teaching, I cant find room for all of them. Thats a bit rough haha.

Had a sleep over at the ZLs last night, it was pretty sick. We had an Elder from Tonga, Chile, and India, so you know we had plenty of ghost stories to go around all night. Super crazy. Had like 8 elders in the apartment, it was wild.

Oh we helped an inactive guy move this week, who drove a suped up Subaru forester, talked to him for a bit and he was literally a real life need for speed character. He got us into the local street racing Facebook groups and stuff haha. It's crazy, they'll just say dinner at 3 am at some place and everyone will show up and race. You'll hear them drive by and stuff its wild.

Other than that we have been chilling, I'm kinda ready to get to another area. Members are getting kinda sick of me too haha, showed up to help a member move the other day, and we got out of the car and he was like you're still here. Yup. Oh we had our first fast and testimony meeting yesterday. That was so sick. Elder Ellis bore his testimony, and sounded about like a cali surf bro bearing his testimony, using words like "it was super righteous" and other phrases like that. I was dying. Our zone is super dope, so I dont have any complaints at all.

You know I am getting tired of writing up these weeklies haha, but you know i havent missed a weekly in 2 years so imma stick with it haha. Whats up everybodyy? How yall been? Hope yall had a peachy keen week! Its been a good week here in Independencia, just kinda vibing haha, working hard, enjoying my time in Argentina! We've been walking around all week, its been a vibe, probably walked like 30 kilometros haha. It was good, we saw a bunch of success, found some solid people.  Had some exchanges with the boys in San Ignacio, that was fun. My boy elder Lewis was dying haha, so we had to go save him from his comp. Had some fun lessons, I ran the joke that I was from Chile the whole time and got away with it. My spanish is evolving to a whole other level. Had the baptism of Carlos this week! It was such a sweet experience! He is a capo, so glad I got to meet him and his fam. Literally no one showed up to the baptism, but that happens haha. The water was freezing cold bro, winter sucks here. I'm happy to be here. Sup yall? How have yall been doin? Hope that all is going well wherever yall be at! Been a good week, just been vibing out here, working really hard, being obedient and stuff yall already know. Did some exchanges with the boys in Joaquin V Gonzalez, which is a 5 hour bus ride. Muito bom. It was sick, its a tiny town in the middle of nowhere. such sick vibes. It was so chill out there. Thats where you go to catch the Golden Dorado for all yall fishermen out there. Good exchanges tho, really had me remeniscing on my time in Concepcion, I miss those small town vibes. We also had a talent show activity, and we dressed up as vaqueros(argentinian cowboys) and sang "Adios Amor" which is a sad mariache song, it was so sick Ive been vibing a lot with the poncho recently, cuz its been cold. I really rock with the poncho mate mix, way hype. I have been loving the vibes up here recently.
