"A successful missionary"
Hola everybody
Hows your lives going? It's been a crazy week haha and it sounds like this week is gonna be a little bit less crazy, more on that in a second. Still in Avondale, still with the vegan comp in case yall were wondering
Did a bunch of service this week, we helped this lady make a fence, that was fun. She was super sexist haha it was so funny, the sisters would try and do something and she would be like nuh uh honey let the men do this. Haha she was crazy.
In terms of missionary work, we absolutely killed it this week. In the past 6 months we have found 2 new people, in this last week alone we found 2 haha let's go. A slight miracle to say the least. Tell yall about that in a minute. Covid missionary work is over though. We can finally go street contact and stuff it's way better than facebook.
Highlight of the week was Friday. We went on exchanges, I was in Avondale with Elder Zentner, and we just went to work. We started the day at like 7 am and didnt stop until 10 pm. We worked super hard, and in Avondale fashion we just got rejected even harder. Worse then usual though. After like 4 hours of it, we got back in the car, we said a prayer, seeking guidance and stuff. Then we got rejected even harder, til we said one more house at like 8:45, and this guy opened, his name is Reyes, and we talked for a bit and hes interested in us teaching him, so we are going back to teach him mañana!!! I was exhausted though.
So we have been getting out more, and we met Maria, who is interested in talking to us haha, idk bout the church but she is cool. Super awesome, many miracles. And I dont remember any of the many many rejections. It was awesome. But my comp just broke his ankle I think, so back to Facebook. Oh and I found the dopest chair, arguably second biggest miracle of the week haha.
Oh and the interview with the general authority went awesome. He was way cool, and he said he could pull some strings to get me transferred out of this area. Haha jk but it was awesome, and I'm kinda a big deal now. Arguably more important was a guy who kept calling the other elders, thinking they were a pizza place, and he only spoke Spanish so I had to talk to him. So funny.
I love yall, keep killing it out there. Just wanna remind yall, especially the missionaries/future missionaries out there, no matter how much adversity you face, keep going, it's worth it. Love yall, take it easy, but not too easy.

This picture really puts into perspective how tall I've become on the mission
Bug juice tastes infinitely better than I remembered it tasting, but the Book of Mormon is probably more delicious.
This picture doesnt do this cloud justice, it was a crazy thunderstorm, and it dodged us I was so sad.
My comp is deathly terrified of horses, but me and this horse were homies 100%, gonna go chill with him sometime for sure.
For the vsco😤😤
