Apparently I Smell Good

Hahaha what's up everybody? It's your least favorite missionary, back at ya with another weekly email. So much has happened in the last couple of weeks, but also nothing has really happened haha. Where to start.


Apparently we can start street contacting, that's been interesting. Street contacting kinda sucks haha. Just walking around for hours scaring everyone out of parks and stuff. No luck yet, we'll let ya know if that changes.

We have finally struck gold though. We have been trying to get in contact with a recent convert who fell a bit inactive, and we finally got her to listen to conference and she should be coming to church next week! Let's go! We also got a referral from one of our members, it seems to be real promising.

We watched conference with the Hadleys, so we spent the whole weekend there. They are the sweetest family, Susan is my favorite. She's a very outspoken Democrat or liberal or whatever you want to call it, more power to her, but she's hilarious. Probably one of my favorite members. Oh and she asked me what cologne I wear cuz apparently I smell really good haha, honestly one of the best compliments you can give someone.

My thoughts on conference. One word that stuck out to me was "sanctuary". Mostly stuck out because Sanctuary by Joji is one of my favorite songs ever, but it got me thinking. How important is it to have a "sanctuary"? Obviously important enough for the church to spend millions on meeting houses and temples, but what about our personal sanctuaries? It is equally if not more important to have our own places, set aside from the world, to grow closer to our Heavenly Father. I wanna invite yall to put a little bit of thought into our own personal “sanctuaries".

You know I am getting tired of writing up these weeklies haha, but you know i havent missed a weekly in 2 years so imma stick with it haha. Hope yall have been thriving back home and in your missions! Been a good week. The most exciting thing was seeing all of our hard work over the past couple months fall into place, we were able to put 4 baptismal dates for this week, they are pretty solid as well! Wrist machine broke

Whats up everybodyy? How yall been? Hope yall had a peachy keen week! Its been a good week here in Independencia, just kinda vibing haha, working hard, enjoying my time in Argentina! We've been walking around all week, its been a vibe, probably walked like 30 kilometros haha. It was good, we saw a bunch of success, found some solid people.  Had some exchanges with the boys in San Ignacio, that was fun. My boy elder Lewis was dying haha, so we had to go save him from his comp. Had some fun lessons, I ran the joke that I was from Chile the whole time and got away with it. My spanish is evolving to a whole other level. Had the baptism of Carlos this week! It was such a sweet experience! He is a capo, so glad I got to meet him and his fam. Literally no one showed up to the baptism, but that happens haha. The water was freezing cold bro, winter sucks here. I'm happy to be here. ¡Y ahí nos vemos mi reina!

Sup yall? How have yall been doin? Hope that all is going well wherever yall be at! Been a good week, just been vibing out here, working really hard, being obedient and stuff yall already know. Did some exchanges with the boys in Joaquin V Gonzalez, which is a 5 hour bus ride. Muito bom. It was sick, its a tiny town in the middle of nowhere. such sick vibes. It was so chill out there. Thats where you go to catch the Golden Dorado for all yall fishermen out there. Good exchanges tho, really had me remeniscing on my time in Concepcion, I miss those small town vibes. We also had a talent show activity, and we dressed up as vaqueros(argentinian cowboys) and sang "Adios Amor" which is a sad mariache song, it was so sick Ive been vibing a lot with the poncho recently, cuz its been cold. I really rock with the poncho mate mix, way hype. I have been loving the vibes up here recently.
