In the hood

What's up y'all? How's life been treating ya? I really need to stop talking like a Texan, it's a whole different language here in the ghetto. It's been a pretty crazy week, I left Avondale, super sad, but I'm here in Benbrook now, and I'm super stoked about it. Oh my new comp's name is Elder Austin, and he's pretty cool.


Couple of things about the area haha. The apartment we are in is actually super nice, it's like a little cottage thing and the vibes are absolutely immaculate here. The other Elders we live with are super sick, it's awesome. The district is really cool, the rest of the zone is super lame though haha. The apartment was an absolute mess, but me and Gillen (the new people) cleaned it up a ton so it's cool now. Both our comp's just finished training, and their trainers were super lazy, so we are working to fix some bad habits. They're good missionaries, their trainers just slept all day haha.

The teaching is crazy out here. We have so many grey dots and some promising people that we are working with. All the missionaries in the area have been super lazy for like a year, so nobody has really tried contacting all the people, so it's a good mine. About 50% of our contacts turn into follow up appointments right now, it's a complete 180 from Avondale. We called this lady, and we told her we were the missionaries, and she yelled hallelujah haha it was awesome. Don't always get a response like that as a missionary, but we are gonna go teach her tonight, so sick.

The area really is the ghetto though. We have parts of our area that are projects, and then there's some nice areas as well, but nothing anywhere near Avondale. It's super funny to see all the crazy stuff that goes on out here. 

Besides the occasional drug bust and stuff nothing too crazy has happened yet. It's super nice being in a Brone, or zone full of Elders, cuz we can ball up in the mornings, and it gets pretty intense. It's also super weird with no Sisters though. I love it out here, really nice to get a change.

Anyways sorry this email is kinda long. Love y'all mucho tho, hope y'all keep killing it, stay safe out there. And don't end up on the wrong side of Fort Worth, or do haha, they're all really pretty nice honestly.

You know I am getting tired of writing up these weeklies haha, but you know i havent missed a weekly in 2 years so imma stick with it haha. Hope yall have been thriving back home and in your missions! Been a good week. The most exciting thing was seeing all of our hard work over the past couple months fall into place, we were able to put 4 baptismal dates for this week, they are pretty solid as well! Wrist machine broke

Whats up everybodyy? How yall been? Hope yall had a peachy keen week! Its been a good week here in Independencia, just kinda vibing haha, working hard, enjoying my time in Argentina! We've been walking around all week, its been a vibe, probably walked like 30 kilometros haha. It was good, we saw a bunch of success, found some solid people.  Had some exchanges with the boys in San Ignacio, that was fun. My boy elder Lewis was dying haha, so we had to go save him from his comp. Had some fun lessons, I ran the joke that I was from Chile the whole time and got away with it. My spanish is evolving to a whole other level. Had the baptism of Carlos this week! It was such a sweet experience! He is a capo, so glad I got to meet him and his fam. Literally no one showed up to the baptism, but that happens haha. The water was freezing cold bro, winter sucks here. I'm happy to be here. ¡Y ahí nos vemos mi reina!

Sup yall? How have yall been doin? Hope that all is going well wherever yall be at! Been a good week, just been vibing out here, working really hard, being obedient and stuff yall already know. Did some exchanges with the boys in Joaquin V Gonzalez, which is a 5 hour bus ride. Muito bom. It was sick, its a tiny town in the middle of nowhere. such sick vibes. It was so chill out there. Thats where you go to catch the Golden Dorado for all yall fishermen out there. Good exchanges tho, really had me remeniscing on my time in Concepcion, I miss those small town vibes. We also had a talent show activity, and we dressed up as vaqueros(argentinian cowboys) and sang "Adios Amor" which is a sad mariache song, it was so sick Ive been vibing a lot with the poncho recently, cuz its been cold. I really rock with the poncho mate mix, way hype. I have been loving the vibes up here recently.
