Transfers and stuff

What's up yall? Stuffs been un poco loco here in Arlington haha. Transfers were this week and stuff, that was cool but sad. We got a call Tuesday night and Elder Mortensen left the apartment on like 10 hour notice, that sucked, Bowler was so sad.


So the new companions name is Elder Beckstrand, he's a quiet little fella, kinda sassy tbh but ya got to love em. Elder Carter is the other new guy in the apartment, he's an interesting chap I guess you could say.

Stuffs been hot as freak out here, that hasn't really been ideal, but I've just been sitting in meetings all week. Oh and I got my head buzzed haha, I kinda referred to that last week. I like it though, I'm not out here tryna find my future wife or anything, so I dont mind ya know.

Missionary work has been going great. 3 of our 5 friends that are super close to baptism came to church yesterday, it was so dope. It's honestly a super realistic goal to get 5 baptisms this transfer, which is insane.

We've been balling up out here, we invited our friend Diego to pray about baptism, and we will probably put him on date next week! So excited for them! And Diego bought us all our groceries today too haha, we love the Campuzanos so much!

Yall go read John 15, I found this gem in my studies the other day. Especially verse 5, I love the parable of Jesus being "the vine". By keeping the commandments and following the missionary standards, we can stay attached to the vine. And its promised that all those who make an effort to stay attached to that vine will "bring forth fruit". Think about that. It is kind of harsh, but you are kinda shooting yourself in the foot by cutting yourself from the vine. Think about that.

Anyways love ya'll, hope everything is absolutely blessed with y'all. I miss all of ya'll a lot, let me know how ya'll are doing, I promise I'm gonna start emailing back!

You know I am getting tired of writing up these weeklies haha, but you know i havent missed a weekly in 2 years so imma stick with it haha. Hope yall have been thriving back home and in your missions! Been a good week. Wrist machine broke

Whats up everybodyy? How yall been? Hope yall had a peachy keen week! Its been a good week here in Independencia, just kinda vibing haha, working hard, enjoying my time in Argentina! We've been walking around all week, its been a vibe, probably walked like 30 kilometros haha. It was good, we saw a bunch of success, found some solid people.  Had some exchanges with the boys in San Ignacio, that was fun. My boy elder Lewis was dying haha, so we had to go save him from his comp. Had some fun lessons, I ran the joke that I was from Chile the whole time and got away with it. My spanish is evolving to a whole other level. Had the baptism of Carlos this week! It was such a sweet experience! He is a capo, so glad I got to meet him and his fam. Literally no one showed up to the baptism, but that happens haha. The water was freezing cold bro, winter sucks here. I'm happy to be here. Sup yall? How have yall been doin? Hope that all is going well wherever yall be at! Been a good week, just been vibing out here, working really hard, being obedient and stuff yall already know. Did some exchanges with the boys in Joaquin V Gonzalez, which is a 5 hour bus ride. Muito bom. It was sick, its a tiny town in the middle of nowhere. such sick vibes. It was so chill out there. Thats where you go to catch the Golden Dorado for all yall fishermen out there. Good exchanges tho, really had me remeniscing on my time in Concepcion, I miss those small town vibes. We also had a talent show activity, and we dressed up as vaqueros(argentinian cowboys) and sang "Adios Amor" which is a sad mariache song, it was so sick Ive been vibing a lot with the poncho recently, cuz its been cold. I really rock with the poncho mate mix, way hype. I have been loving the vibes up here recently.
