Yall pinch me please
This week has honestly felt like a dream. Its been crazy tryna throw everything together here at the end of the transfer haha, it was a nightmare. Honestly kinda a tough week, our companionship couldnt catch a break.
Our friend william ghosted us all week, so we didnt get his interview done prior to the baptism, so we had to push it back. He hit us up the day of the baptism and said he was too busy, that was really frustrating but we will hopefully get him back on date.
Transfers are this week, and I am gonna be training again haha. Well actually Elder Quinlan is leaving us, so Im gonna finish up Elder Beckstrands training. Itll be tough cuz the ward loves quin, but itll be good. Gonna put my spanish to the test for sure.
Tuesday was actually hype. We taught a lady named Pazita, who quin randomly called last week. We taught her the first part of the restoration, and as we were about to teach the gospel blesses individuals and families, her phone rang and she found out her mother was dying. Kinda awkward, but kinda a miracle that we were there in that moment to let her know that this didn't have to be the last time that she saw her mom. The spirit was so strong in that lesson yall. It was way sick.
Our english classes were popping off, it was way hype. We had like 9 people on thursday, which was like crazy successful, we hadnt had much success since I got here. Its way more fun when we have a lot of people.
We did a pretty dope service, and I actually almost died hahaha. Mom dont read this. We were doing service at a nature preserve, and they have copperheads (dangerous snakes) there. So we finished the service, and me and bowler were looking for copperheads, and I turned around and not even 3 feet from my feet was a 2 or 3 foot copperhead. They are sneaky and they blend in so well. Fortunately I escaped unscathed. Grabbed some cool pics tho.
The saving grace of the week was that I got a call from President Chapman Sunday morning, and I am going to Argentina on the 4th of November!!! I was so hyped haha, I remember seeing my friends getting this call like a year ago, I never thought this day would come. I was beyond stoked if you couldnt already tell. Itll be so hype. Im gonna be seeing mountains in 3.5 weeks haha lets go. Its gonna be hard to say goodbye to the Fort Worth mission for sure. Good memories here.
Anyways this is way too long if yall read this all you are a champ. Love yall, and those missionaries out there remember that missions arent supposed to be easy, but they will be worth it.
Love yourz.
Elder Larson
Storm cell that came through last night. Super strong storm, there was a tornado like 20 miles south of here haha.
