Estamos en Argentina!!

Whats up yall?? This week has been super crazy haha, but we made it to argentina so thats so hype. It is super bien out here, I already absolutely love it! The people out here are so sweet, and its a beautiful place.


Its been a completely different experience from my mission back in the United States, but thats not a bad thing entirely. Everything is super numbers based, which is literally the opposite of the TFWM (Texas Fort Worth Mission). They don't teach the pmg (Preach My Gospel) lessons here, they do a super condensed version of the lessons, and just baptize, even when they arent ready yet, its kinda crazy.

We stayed in a hotel all weekend and we have been sitting in meetings most of the time, so i actually dont know what its really like to be a missionary yet, but its been funciona haha. Like a vacation, just 15 elders hanging out at a hotel haha. We are gonna be heading out and starting the work today, so i dont get a p Day today, ill just be on the bus all day.

So anyways im gonna be heading out to Tucuman, the most dangerous área in the mission. Ill be in the City of Concepcion, I am beyond hype to be heading out there!! My comps name is Elder Campos, hes a local, he doesnt speak any english. Hes been out like 2 months haha, but im technically junior comp so im super stoked about that! My first time since Elder Morris almost a year ago, all ive ever wanted was to be junior comp haha.

We are the first gringos here in almost like 20 months, which is crazy. We were on the Argentina national news the other day, that was hype. There is about 50 missionaries in the mission right now, and it is a huge mission too, so we are prolly not gonna be hanging out with other missionaries that often.

Besides that tho, im super excited to be out here. Im mega miss the tfwm rn, but its all good. Its been a good week, cant wait to go to work!

You know I am getting tired of writing up these weeklies haha, but you know i havent missed a weekly in 2 years so imma stick with it haha. Hope yall have been thriving back home and in your missions! Been a good week. The most exciting thing was seeing all of our hard work over the past couple months fall into place, we were able to put 4 baptismal dates for this week, they are pretty solid as well! Whats up everybodyy? How yall been? Hope yall had a peachy keen week! Its been a good week here in Independencia, just kinda vibing haha, working hard, enjoying my time in Argentina! We've been walking around all week, its been a vibe, probably walked like 30 kilometros haha. It was good, we saw a bunch of success, found some solid people.  Had some exchanges with the boys in San Ignacio, that was fun. My boy elder Lewis was dying haha, so we had to go save him from his comp. Had some fun lessons, I ran the joke that I was from Chile the whole time and got away with it. My spanish is evolving to a whole other level. Had the baptism of Carlos this week! It was such a sweet experience! He is a capo, so glad I got to meet him and his fam. Literally no one showed up to the baptism, but that happens haha. The water was freezing cold bro, winter sucks here. I'm happy to be here. Sup yall? How have yall been doin? Hope that all is going well wherever yall be at! Been a good week, just been vibing out here, working really hard, being obedient and stuff yall already know. Did some exchanges with the boys in Joaquin V Gonzalez, which is a 5 hour bus ride. Muito bom. It was sick, its a tiny town in the middle of nowhere. such sick vibes. It was so chill out there. Thats where you go to catch the Golden Dorado for all yall fishermen out there. Good exchanges tho, really had me remeniscing on my time in Concepcion, I miss those small town vibes. We also had a talent show activity, and we dressed up as vaqueros(argentinian cowboys) and sang "Adios Amor" which is a sad mariache song, it was so sick Ive been vibing a lot with the poncho recently, cuz its been cold. I really rock with the poncho mate mix, way hype. I have been loving the vibes up here recently.
