This week on Concepcion rama drama:0
Yo whats up yall how have you been? We have been seeing miracles out here in Argentina! Its been a crazy week haha, it was a long week, but that happens when you get a p day on a saturday. Yall. Good news i dont think I have depression!
Haha its been a better week this week with the comp. My only problem with him this week was that he literally only treats our friends like numbers, he doesnt have any love in him haha. For example, we had a lesson last night, Plan of Salvación, and our friend Delia was telling her story about how her mom died, (which is fire for the PoS), and he didnt listen an ounce. He felt that he needed to yell over her and move on and teach the next príncipe, judgement and kingdoms of glory, i was like bro u really didnt listen to any of that did you. So I threw it in reverse and addressed the need and the lesson turned out awesome still haha. We are hoping to baptize her on the 18th!
La rama concepción is pretty wild haha. There is like a gang war amongst the members, like two rival groups that dont like each other. The dad of the girl Sasha that we are teaching doesnt wanna attend church cuz of this, which is kinda sad. Fortunately we got them to attend yesterday, it was super hype i think we are close to reactivating them!
Set a new personal récord yesterday. I ate 12 empanadas and 2 bowls of ice cream for Lunch. If any of yall wanna try and top that go ahead. The food out here is super Cash, but i really ought to be careful with the sugar. My matte addiction is already spiraling out of control haha.
We had zone conference this week, that was funny. Presidente Palmieri really just roasted the TFWM (Texas Fort Worth Mission) the whole time haha. He said life helps (self reliance, mental health programs on the church website which my old mission helped pilot) programs are for "0 baptism missions" which to me is hilarious cuz we really did waste way too much time talking about life helps. He is a business man for sure tho. He is not afraid to chastise you in front of everyone, but he does it to teach a point. In person hes awesome tho. Just be careful haha. On the drive there i was checking out the spedometer and one of the AP's was driving just over 200 kph. Idk how many miles per hour that is so somebody look that up for me. Pretty fricken fast.
Stuff really is getting better out here though. And i gotta say its kind of a miracle. Not much has changed but I am happy! My spanish still is rough. But we did actually get to go out and work this week! Miracle! Its a vibe out here. I love it. I miss yall, and do not forget how blessed you are to live in America!
Love yourz
