808s and Heartbreaks

Whats up yall? How have you been doing? How was your holiday season? Not to flex but that was my last one on the mission haha les go! Ours was pretty good honestly, kind of a crazy week haha.

In reference to the title. I am out here breaking hearts already haha! Theres this guy who lives across the street from us, we are teaching his mom, but he is gay. And with all the parties that went down this week, he obviously got super hopped up on drugs and alcohol, and confessed that I was the love of his life and all that. Im just sitting there like get me out of here right. So we did, we got up and left, but the next day we were teaching his mom and he came back. Same thing. Elder Larson is the love of my life blah bla blah. Anyways, theres a mildly crazy gay dude, who we found out also always carries a knife with him, who lives across the street from us. And he wants me. Yikes

Lol besides that we went up to Salta this week haha, that was hype! Got to see the boys for the first time in a bit, probably the last time actually. Nice to see other missionaries, it sucks being in insolation out here. It is also nice to be far from the mission president tho. I am not disobedient at all or anything, but the dude is just scary haha. Usually zone cconference is like a positive spiritual experience, but he just got up there and chastised us for not having enough faith to find 25 New people and baptize 3 people a month. Hm.

So that was a thing too, we got to travel through a bunch of the mission, good stuff. Poor elders in Santiago drove like 10 hours, we were Lucky and only had 7. That was our New year, nothing crazy. If you wondered how they celebrate New Year, its the same as Christmas, just more drugs and alcohol if you can believe it haha.

Besides that tho its more of the same old same old. I am oficially a telemarketer for the next 7 months! Les go! Its chill, I love it actually! We met a dope new friend this week haha, she is 21 (me and Elder Guapos for some weird reason keep finding YSA age girls to teach..) her name is Florencia, she is already friends with Yanina, the girl we baptized a couple weeks ago. She even came to church! Hype!

The vibes are immaculate tho. It got up to 111° fahrenheit on saturday, keep in mind thats without accounting for the humidity. We have lost power aboudt 4 times this week! Its hype! Hope all yall are doing good! Love yall and have a great new year!!

Love yourz
