It is officially very hot

Whats up yall?? How are ya doin? The grind continúes out here! We have been grinding out here! As much as one can with all this covid running around. Stuff is going good out here, it feels like the movie Groundhogs day a lot of the time, buts all good!


If any of yall wanted to take a trip to Tucuman in the summer, I would not advise it, the forecast every day this week was the exact same. 108° and sunny. And humid. We did a good bit of our traveling this week at 2 in the afternoon, there wasnt a soul in the streets. It was so hot.

Our new companion actually made it out here, because of covid we werent sure that they were gonna be able to make it out. But he did, his name is Elder Gooch, yall he literally speaks zero Spanish haha. Like none. He was in the field for a year and didnt study spanish once haha. We were teaching a lesson to the lady we baptized on Saturday, yesterday after she'd been baptized, and i told him to invite her to be baptized on the 5th so he read off the baptismal invitation and everything, even though we baptized her the day before haha. Didn't have a clue. Just having fun with him haha!

We did manage to get the baptism of Florencia in! It was way hype! And Yanina, who we baptized a couple weeks ago, gave the talk on baptism, and she is super shy but she powered through and did it! That was like such a special moment for me, Yanina is the best! The baptism was good too! Florencia is awesome! Everything went well, it was a good time!

Besides that it was just another week in Concepcion. Probably my favorite group of people out here are called Evangelistas. Its pretty easy to spot an Evangelista. A few dead giveaway things they say: "me encanta escuchar la palabra" "bendiciones pastor" "amen". Everybody makes jokes about like basic members of the church, but evangelistas literally come from a factory, they do not have personalities. They are all the same hahaha. Stuff like that keeps me goin haha.

Anyways I wanted to share a quote for my spiritual thought this week. "A journey of 1500 miles begins with just one step. So be very careful with your steps." To achieve any goal, it all starts with one step. If you want to be happy, eternally happy, that journey starts today. Small steps like reading scriptures or praying every day, it will significantly change your life. I would like to invite yall to take that first small step towards being better today, and 1500 miles down the road, you will see the blessings. (Joshua 24:15)

You know I am getting tired of writing up these weeklies haha, but you know i havent missed a weekly in 2 years so imma stick with it haha. Whats up everybodyy? How yall been? Hope yall had a peachy keen week! Its been a good week here in Independencia, just kinda vibing haha, working hard, enjoying my time in Argentina! We've been walking around all week, its been a vibe, probably walked like 30 kilometros haha. It was good, we saw a bunch of success, found some solid people.  Had some exchanges with the boys in San Ignacio, that was fun. My boy elder Lewis was dying haha, so we had to go save him from his comp. Had some fun lessons, I ran the joke that I was from Chile the whole time and got away with it. My spanish is evolving to a whole other level. Had the baptism of Carlos this week! It was such a sweet experience! He is a capo, so glad I got to meet him and his fam. Literally no one showed up to the baptism, but that happens haha. The water was freezing cold bro, winter sucks here. I'm happy to be here. Sup yall? How have yall been doin? Hope that all is going well wherever yall be at! Been a good week, just been vibing out here, working really hard, being obedient and stuff yall already know. Did some exchanges with the boys in Joaquin V Gonzalez, which is a 5 hour bus ride. Muito bom. It was sick, its a tiny town in the middle of nowhere. such sick vibes. It was so chill out there. Thats where you go to catch the Golden Dorado for all yall fishermen out there. Good exchanges tho, really had me remeniscing on my time in Concepcion, I miss those small town vibes. We also had a talent show activity, and we dressed up as vaqueros(argentinian cowboys) and sang "Adios Amor" which is a sad mariache song, it was so sick Ive been vibing a lot with the poncho recently, cuz its been cold. I really rock with the poncho mate mix, way hype. I have been loving the vibes up here recently.
