What a week eh

Whats up everybody?? How are yall doing? I hope that everything is going super well! We survived another week out here, man I didnt think we would make it but we did. It was another tough one for sure..


Soo as you could probably expect, I started to get covid symptoms right after Elder Campos was getting over it. So we got the pleasure of having to quarantine 3 separate times basically, haha. why we didnt just all get it at once i have no idea. Fortunately we are officially out of quarantine now!

The weather was beautiful this week. Super cold, rainy, all good there! But, there was a leak in our roof, and a decent portion of my stuff is now ruined. Thats awesome! And our laundry machine broke too¡ We did not have good luck with us this week.

Life goes on tho! The missionary work has been goin good! We had 6 friends at church yesterday, which almost doubled the attendance of the branch haha. So hype tho! We got to baptize Sasha too! Not gonna lie we had the most genius plan to finally get em to go through with the baptism this week, we have been working with the family for the full 3 months i have been here, and every week they keep Pushin it back, so we kinda had to finesse them haha! Nah the baptism was so dope! The family is super excited and becoming active again! I am so happy cuz we have worked so hard with this family! The grind continúes tho, there is a lot of work to be done in the branch.

Spiritual thought! Yall absolutely must go and watch the BYU devotional from Elder Holland from January 18th. It is so good! It talks a lot about trials and why we pass through them! Everybody on this email list should go watch it rn!

Anyways dont wanna bore yall with too much of my week! Hope yall had a wonderful January, filled with lots of skiing and stuff:(. Have a good one yall!

You know I am getting tired of writing up these weeklies haha, but you know i havent missed a weekly in 2 years so imma stick with it haha. Hope yall have been thriving back home and in your missions! Been a good week. The most exciting thing was seeing all of our hard work over the past couple months fall into place, we were able to put 4 baptismal dates for this week, they are pretty solid as well! Whats up everybodyy? How yall been? Hope yall had a peachy keen week! Its been a good week here in Independencia, just kinda vibing haha, working hard, enjoying my time in Argentina! We've been walking around all week, its been a vibe, probably walked like 30 kilometros haha. It was good, we saw a bunch of success, found some solid people.  Had some exchanges with the boys in San Ignacio, that was fun. My boy elder Lewis was dying haha, so we had to go save him from his comp. Had some fun lessons, I ran the joke that I was from Chile the whole time and got away with it. My spanish is evolving to a whole other level. Had the baptism of Carlos this week! It was such a sweet experience! He is a capo, so glad I got to meet him and his fam. Literally no one showed up to the baptism, but that happens haha. The water was freezing cold bro, winter sucks here. I'm happy to be here. Sup yall? How have yall been doin? Hope that all is going well wherever yall be at! Been a good week, just been vibing out here, working really hard, being obedient and stuff yall already know. Did some exchanges with the boys in Joaquin V Gonzalez, which is a 5 hour bus ride. Muito bom. It was sick, its a tiny town in the middle of nowhere. such sick vibes. It was so chill out there. Thats where you go to catch the Golden Dorado for all yall fishermen out there. Good exchanges tho, really had me remeniscing on my time in Concepcion, I miss those small town vibes. We also had a talent show activity, and we dressed up as vaqueros(argentinian cowboys) and sang "Adios Amor" which is a sad mariache song, it was so sick Ive been vibing a lot with the poncho recently, cuz its been cold. I really rock with the poncho mate mix, way hype. I have been loving the vibes up here recently.
