Whats up yall? How have yall been? I hope that yall had an excellent week! Mom I know you are panicking rn bc of the title, dont worry im still in one piece haha! Nah fr tho I had an excellent week! So we didnt actually get robbed. We were very close to getting robbed haha. We were heading to a lunch in a dangerous part of our area, and we were walking down the street, and a chorro (guy that wears soccer jerseys and does drugs) crossed over to our side of the street for no reason. He was glancing at my pocket with the phone in it (they basically only rob you for your phone out here). But then he glanced at my hand, and I had my black tie clip in my fist, which he probably mistook for a knife, and backed off. Phew. Kinda funny. Very lucky, I basically never walk with the tie clip in hand like that. Besides that tho like a pretty good week! We were really successful in our finding this week, which was awesome! Whats up yall? How have you been doing? Hope that all is well. It feels like its been 2 seconds since I wrote my last weekly haha, time flies too fast for sure! Honestly we have had better weeks out here haha. This was a rough week missionary work wise. We had everything set for the baptism of Monica, she had an awesome testimony, we had a couple of the best lessons that I have had on the mission, but it came down to the interview, and question 4 got her. Even though she knew what she had to do, she decided it was too uncomfortable, requires too much sacrifice to be a member of the church. That was hard. To go from one day having this great testimony to the next "sorry for wasting your time missionaries, I dont wanna hear anything else" kinda hurt. It hurt a lot actually. Because we were working in the facebook pages and also we had exchanges, we lost two days of work in our area, and so it has been suffering a lil. Whats up yall? How have yall been doin? It has felt like an eternity since that last email haha, all good tho. We did get to go up for the mission conference with Elder Bednar, that was pretty neat. Overall a pretty good week, I would say like 6 or 7 out of ten. The trip to Salta: way hype. Salta is super pretty, also super rich haha. Woke up at like 5 to go travel up there, it was a pretty fat commute up there. The conference itself was way hype. Susan Bednar and Elder Bednar are a pretty funny combo haha! I could bore yall with the 5000 spiritual insights that I took away from those 3 hours, but it sufficeth me to say that it was incredible. His style of teaching was very impressive. It was amazing how the spoken word was vaguely directed at all of us, but what I learned was stunningly individual. Whats up yall? How have ya been? Not gonna lie, this has been a pretty boring week haha, just a lot of walking, and its a short week so i will try and keep it short for yall. The mission has been really emphasizing visiting the less actives for a bit right now. So we have been working with the ward a bit, they got us a list of the 600 member families that are in the records here in Concepcion(not exaggerating). So we have been working with that haha. For those of you who dont know much about addresses in Argentina or church records in general, 98% of these adresses do not exist haha. So really its just walking around for an hour and a half asking people for directions and if they wanna talk about Jesus. This week has been tough missionary work wise, cant say we have found much success from visiting the less actives, but you have to do what you're told.
