Fuaaaaa

Whats up yall? How have yall been doin? It has felt like an eternity since that last email haha, all good tho. We did get to go up for the mission conference with Elder Bednar, that was pretty neat. Overall a pretty good week, I would say like 6 or 7 out of ten.

The trip to Salta: way hype. Salta is super pretty, also super rich haha. Woke up at like 5 to go travel up there, it was a pretty fat commute up there. The conference itself was way hype.

Susan Bednar and Elder Bednar are a pretty funny combo haha! I could bore yall with the 5000 spiritual insights that I took away from those 3 hours, but it sufficeth me to say that it was incredible. His style of teaching was very impressive. It was amazing how the spoken word was vaguely directed at all of us, but what I learned was stunningly individual. It was very impressive to me, he really only spoke, but the Spirit taught every single person in that room something different.

Elder Gooch moment: I am very grateful for my comp hes such a goober haha! Elder Bednar: yall know why the time passed so fast in this meeting? Elder Gooch: because we were having fun. Elder Bednar: because us as mortals are uncomfortable in time. Haha he went on to explain some complex doctrine, it was pretty funny. What a guy.

So after that we stayed in Salta for 3 days to do some papers for my visa. Picture like my first week out here just chilling in the office forever with not much to do. I almost got to eat Mcdonalds, im so sad haha. The way back was a journey as well.

We literally just got harrassed by a bus driver that wasnt a fan of Americans. He ended up kicking us off in San Miguel, even tho our ticket was to Concepcion. I was pretty upset, but I kept my calm and bribed him 500 pesos to let us stay on the bus. But he said no. Bro you could get away with selling drugs if you bribed a cop 500 pesos. But this bus driver turned it down bro. I was pissed. So anyways we waited another half hour for the next bus to come through, and paid 500 pesos to go back to Concepción. Completely unnecessary waste of 30 minutes of our day. We ended up getting back pretty late at night, exhausted, and very frustrated haha.

This is already long haha, the missionary work was good this week, we only had 3 work days but we found 7 people, and had 6 friends at church so that was hype! Hope yall have a good week!!

Love yourz
