Whats up yall? How have you been? It has been a crazy week haha! We made it up here to Salta, everything all good there! I have never seen an area with so much missionary work potential, it is unreal! And there is actually members here, that was kinda a nice change to be honest!
So I am in Salta Sur, we are in the barrio democracia. Which is, the ghetto. It is honestly a lot scarier than Tucuman haha, never would have guessed it. Our neighbor, Mono, has murdered two people, already robbed the missionaries here, we have had a couple of sticky situations with him haha. It's all good tho, we live right above a member, so he has our back. His name is Nacho, he's so sick haha!
It was an absolutely unreal week missionary work wise, we found an unreal amount of people, and had 19 friends come to church. We have been working so hard. We found a family, which is such a relief cause families don't exist in Concepción, this family has 45 grandkids, they are 60 in total. One of them got baptized 8 years ago, but has been inactive for a while. They have a lot of potential to progress, probably the biggest miracle of the week.
We have been working with a bunch of part member families, and a bunch of them are taking the steps forward to getting baptized. Hype! Our buddy Mckaes is waiting on his mission papers, he was baptized about a year ago. We are working with his family, his mom and grandma are going to get baptized not this Saturday, but the next.
Another miracle was a lady named Evelyn that we found. She found us really. She went to conference, we taught her a bit this week, she came to church, and everything is going super well! She will hopefully get baptized this week!!! Her little Brother John is gonna get baptized the week after! So hype! I am so excited for all the progress going down with our friends!
Our friend Meleni in Concepción got baptized last week! I am so sad I couldnt be there! So proud of her tho!
It has been such a good week! My companion is sick, the work is great, it has been a pretty good change for me! Hope yall are doing well! Take it easy
