Bautismo de Evelyn!!

Whats up yall? It feels like 15 minutes ago I was writing my email from last week haha. But thats only cause we had a real good week haha! 


Last pday was hype, we actually got to go out and do something for the first time in 6 months! Salta is so pretty! I would describe it as like Park City, but way more tropical, and a lot poorer as well. Maybe thats just cuz I am in the ghetto.

Holidays are the worst in Argentina. Everybody just sees it as an excuse to take off work and drink. Idk if Jesús would want you getting wasted to celebrate his resurrection. Just my personal belief haha. It was good tho, still had a good week tbh

Had probably the funniest lesson of the mission up to this point haha. Write me if you wanna hear about it, not appropriate for the weekly hahaha.. Also had one of the best lessons of the mission with a girl named Antonella, everybody was crying, we taught the plan of salvation and at the end she was like "I only have one doubt. You guys dont drink coffee?" I see that as a huge success personally.

Also had Evelyns baptism. That was so awesome. It was one of the most beautiful baptismal services I have had on the mission. We had a youth baptize her, and it turned out to be a beautiful experience.

I would like to share a scripture that has stuck with me this week in the BoM, 2 Nephi 2. Kind of basic ikik. Verse 24 says "But behold, all things have been done in the wisdom of him that knoweth all things." I think I would speak for the majority of us in saying that at least at some point we have all thought "Why would God make me go through this?", "I feel like God has forgotten me." Or some other similar question/doubt. I know there has been moments I have had as a missionary where I asked something similar. But I want all of you to know that God does have a plan for us. That there is no coincidences. That even in our darkest moments, even when we feel abandoned, everything is still in the merciful hands of a God that loves us, very individually. Trust that.

You know I am getting tired of writing up these weeklies haha, but you know i havent missed a weekly in 2 years so imma stick with it haha. Hope yall have been thriving back home and in your missions! Been a good week. The most exciting thing was seeing all of our hard work over the past couple months fall into place, we were able to put 4 baptismal dates for this week, they are pretty solid as well! Whats up everybodyy? How yall been? Hope yall had a peachy keen week! Its been a good week here in Independencia, just kinda vibing haha, working hard, enjoying my time in Argentina! We've been walking around all week, its been a vibe, probably walked like 30 kilometros haha. It was good, we saw a bunch of success, found some solid people.  Had some exchanges with the boys in San Ignacio, that was fun. My boy elder Lewis was dying haha, so we had to go save him from his comp. Had some fun lessons, I ran the joke that I was from Chile the whole time and got away with it. My spanish is evolving to a whole other level. Had the baptism of Carlos this week! It was such a sweet experience! He is a capo, so glad I got to meet him and his fam. Literally no one showed up to the baptism, but that happens haha. The water was freezing cold bro, winter sucks here. I'm happy to be here. Sup yall? How have yall been doin? Hope that all is going well wherever yall be at! Been a good week, just been vibing out here, working really hard, being obedient and stuff yall already know. Did some exchanges with the boys in Joaquin V Gonzalez, which is a 5 hour bus ride. Muito bom. It was sick, its a tiny town in the middle of nowhere. such sick vibes. It was so chill out there. Thats where you go to catch the Golden Dorado for all yall fishermen out there. Good exchanges tho, really had me remeniscing on my time in Concepcion, I miss those small town vibes. We also had a talent show activity, and we dressed up as vaqueros(argentinian cowboys) and sang "Adios Amor" which is a sad mariache song, it was so sick Ive been vibing a lot with the poncho recently, cuz its been cold. I really rock with the poncho mate mix, way hype. I have been loving the vibes up here recently.
