I took an MRI in Argentina

Que onda che? How have yall been doing? We keep moving forward out here in Independencia! Que onda is my favorite phrase in all of Spanish haha, its like "whats your vibe?" You could say "tenés una buena onda" or "you have a good vibe" or if you are feeling grateful, in your prayers, you could throw in "gracias por la buena onda" thanks for the good vibe. Add that to the spanish vocab, very useful word.

Big news tho, Carlos and Claudia are going to be getting married soon, they got the first set of papers done, hallelujah! I have never made it this far before with a wedding baptism haha, whoever invented the system to get married in Argentina should get shot in the foot, most difficult process ever. Fabiana and the kids also threw a surprise party for Elder Houston, it was way fun. I love that family haha.

I was supposed to go get an MRI scan for my wrist on Thursday, but the lady that does them did not show up for work. They are so lazy out here I swear. So we got the MRI on Saturday instead, and we are gonna get the results back on Thursday, a full 3 weeks after I fell on my bikel. I miss the American medical system. For the moment I just have a brace and I am taking some presciption pain meds. Very fun.

We had the funniest lesson in my whole mission this week. We are teaching a 17 year old, Bruno, who is a real chango haha. Former drug dealer and he has a kid. Obviously we were worried a little bit about the commandments lesson hahaha. So we hit him with Law of chastity, Tithing, and The word of wisdom in one lesson. It was so funny. The guy just about had a heart attack. His comments/perspective on it are not quite appropriate to put in this letter, but it was so funny hahaha. At the end he was like "lo acepto. Lo acepto." He was pretty shaken up, but he is determined to get baptized next Thursday, on Houstons last day!

Thats basically it tho, really for the most part a pretty normal week. Nothing scary, nothing crazy, a whole lot of good vibes. We still dont know who my new comp is, which is crazy, I swear they be so lazy over there in the office. Anyways, have a good week yall!!

Love yourz.
