What's up yall? I've been looking forward to writing this email haha, for once something exciting happened here. I dont even know where to begin, but I hope all yall are safe and warm. Where to start, um how about the storm. As yall are probably aware, this week we got down to -2 degrees, with a wind chill of -24, which is the coldest it has been in the Dallas area in 125 years. Kinda wild. It didnt get above freezing until Sunday I think, it was wild. Rolling power outages, no clean water, no water pressure, pipes exploding and flooding, super sketchy driving conditions were just the tip of the iceberg haha. Long story short, we froze, went 5 days straight without being able to shower or do dishes or anything like that, and I had to ration 3 water bottles for my water for the week. Pretty miserable. As yall probably know, the Texas Fort Worth area is currently in the midst of an apocalypse, which just so happens to be like 4 inches of snow maybe. More on that later. Started off the week by teaching Erika on Monday, that was so sick! Taught her the restoration, it went super well, spirit was super strong and everything. Elder Morris read the first vision off the back of the pamphlet, while trying to cover it up by showing her a picture haha, that's about all that went wrong. Set up a return appointment Friday, and then she disappeared. Definitely gonna have to get back in contact with her. The day after that we had a mini transfer, I'm still here in Avondale, and will be for 3 more months, kinda frustrating, but that's alright. It's been a roller coaster of a week, but I have been happy during it haha, idrk how that works but it's true. It's been a lil bit wild so grab some popcorn haha. Let's start it off with the transfer news. Elder John and Elder Sutton both made it home, hallelujah, hoping for the best for them both. Elder Belnap's new greenie is kinda an interesting fella, hes class of 2021 and graduated early, so he loves more than anything to correct grammar mistakes haha. Got a call from President Saturday night, and on Tuesday I'm gonna be picking up my new greenie, guess I'm senior comp and training now yikes. Elder Morris is going out to Weatherford, about as far away from here as you can get. What's up everyone How's yalls lives been, mine has been pretty chill I guess you could say. We are still out here chilling in Avondale, me and Elder Morris, and will continue to chill here for another 6 weeks. Really wish I had a change of scenery, but that's alright who would ever want to get transferred right? Went to the zoo today, that was really fun cuz our district is lame, and cancelled on me and Morris, so we went anyways, but it turns out North District was there, and so we chilled with them and it was a blast.
