Elder Larson ~ Texas to Argentina

Howdy y'all! It's been a super boring week haha. Not too much going on cuz the comp is still RICEing his foot, we can't get out too much so that's been a bummer, but we still had some stuff go down so I'll try and make it interesting for y'all haha. I'm gonna address the important matters first. I'm getting transferred baby! I'm super sad to leave the Avondale area, but I'm so stoked to go to the Fort Worth 6th word. That's downtown fort worth, right in the ghetto. I am super stoked. My comp is named Elder Austin, and his Facebook profile pic caption is a quote from Uncle Iroh from Avatar the Last Airbender, I'm super pumped for that haha. They whitewashed bonds ranch, so Elder Ellis is the only person staying from the apartment. What's up yall?? I hope yall all had an incredible week this week, I sure didnt hahaha. Texas sure is beautiful in the spring, and also my time here in Avondale is running short haha. Transfers are a week from Wednesday, hopefully I get to see a new side of Fort Worth haha. But Elder, why was your week so terrible? Buena pregunta. I think I told yall my comp messed up his foot or something, so we are basically quarantined in our apartment again. We didnt get to visit the people we were hoping to visit either, I was super bummed. Just when stuff starts looking up, something always gets in the way haha. My motivation hit an all time low this week. It was like I was depressed or something, I could not get the motivation to do anything at all. I was SO frustrated haha. I was like shoot I'm only out 8 months I cant be this unmotivated yet, and i woke up yesterday super pumped haha. I'm cured dont worry yall, no depression here. Hola everybody Hows your lives going? It's been a crazy week haha and it sounds like this week is gonna be a little bit less crazy, more on that in a second. Still in Avondale, still with the vegan comp in case yall were wondering Did a bunch of service this week, we helped this lady make a fence, that was fun. She was super sexist haha it was so funny, the sisters would try and do something and she would be like nuh uh honey let the men do this. Haha she was crazy. In terms of missionary work, we absolutely killed it this week. In the past 6 months we have found 2 new people, in this last week alone we found 2 haha let's go. A slight miracle to say the least. Tell yall about that in a minute. Covid missionary work is over though. We can finally go street contact and stuff it's way better than facebook. Highlight of the week was Friday. Hahaha what's up everybody? It's your least favorite missionary, back at ya with another weekly email. So much has happened in the last couple of weeks, but also nothing has really happened haha. Where to start. Apparently we can start street contacting, that's been interesting. Street contacting kinda sucks haha. Just walking around for hours scaring everyone out of parks and stuff. No luck yet, we'll let ya know if that changes. We have finally struck gold though. We have been trying to get in contact with a recent convert who fell a bit inactive, and we finally got her to listen to conference and she should be coming to church next week! Let's go! We also got a referral from one of our members, it seems to be real promising. We watched conference with the Hadleys, so we spent the whole weekend there.
