What's up yall? Hope yall have been doing well. My week was really kind of insane haha, you might wanna read this one. If not, I understand. Let's just jump right in I guess. So we started off with a crazy miracle. We have a list of people from the relief society who we were knocking, and its basically the opposite of a gold mine. Zero success there. But on the way to one of the doors, a lady opened her door right before we walked by, and we started talking, and I was bold as heck and I was like yo could we share a message that could change your life, she was like yeah. Keep in mind this was a really scary neighborhood. So we hopped in there, taught her the Restoration, apparently a member had given her a book of mormon a long time ago, she was totally prepared. She seemed super genuine. It was awesome, lesson went really well. What's up everybody? How have yall been doing? It's been a super gloomy week out here, I don't believe  that I have ever seen any weather quite like this, we have gotten so much rain over the last week or so. Ive almost forgotten what the sun looks like. It was a rough one for sure. Basically if yall havent heard the news, a couple of Elders up in the Denton zone were driving through a thunderstorm on a one lane highway, coming back from a cancelled service project, and got into a head on collision, and unfortunately they both passed away. It was really sad. Their names were Elder Eli Fowler and Elder Luke Carter, and they were both super new to the mission. My comp Elder Austin was in the MTC district with Elder Carter, and was best friends with him, so he introduced him to me at transfers awhile back. We talked a bit about pokemon before we had to go. How yall doing? Super super crazy week out here in the hood, um I don't have any idea where to start at all. So basically what happened was that we started off with a pretty simple I was super sick for a couple of days, then I got the covid shot and I was sick for another day, then it was raining so we went out and tried to contact and nobody was outside cuz it was moist haha. That's like basically the basics of the week, I'm sorry it was actually pretty lame haha. I promise that I will get out and make the next weekly a whole lot more memorable but that's just the way that it was. It's gonna rain all week this week as well though, hopefully there is a tornado. Supposedly potential for baseball sized hail, so I am pretty pumped for that. We did have a couple of positives that went down this week though. Howdy yall, how have yall been doing? I have been straight vibing out here in Fort Worth haha, nothing really too exciting has happened. Everything was pretty fun to be honest, I'm pretty happy and stuff, but the last like 24 hours have been a slap in the face. So we are coming up on my allergy season, and to say the least I am already miserable. Wednesday we were all doing just fine, but Thursday came around and all of a sudden everyone was just allergic to life. Texas allergies are no joke, it's crazy. Yall I was the luckiest missionary in the whole world, and our first counselor called us up and asked me to give a talk on mother's day, so I got to flex how dope my mom is. It was lowkey a miracle, because I've been talking like squidward cuz of my allergies, but they cleared up for like the two hour period of church, and then they just went off the deep end haha. It's been a pretty crazy week, I left Avondale, super sad, but I'm here in Benbrook now, and I'm super stoked about it. Oh my new comp's name is Elder Austin, and he's pretty cool. Couple of things about the area haha. The apartment we are in is actually super nice, it's like a little cottage thing and the vibes are absolutely immaculate here. The other Elders we live with are super sick, it's awesome. The district is really cool, the rest of the zone is super lame though haha. The apartment was an absolute mess, but me and Gillen (the new people) cleaned it up a ton so it's cool now. Both our comp's just finished training, and their trainers were super lazy, so we are working to fix some bad habits. They're good missionaries, their trainers just slept all day haha.
