Elder Larson ~ Texas to Argentina

Yo whats up yall how have you been? We have been seeing miracles out here in Argentina! Its been a crazy week haha, it was a long week, but that happens when you get a p day on a saturday. Yall. Good news i dont think I have depression! Haha its been a better week this week with the comp. My only problem with him this week was that he literally only treats our friends like numbers, he doesnt have any love in him haha. For example, we had a lesson last night, Plan of Salvación, and our friend Delia was telling her story about how her mom died, (which is fire for the PoS), and he didnt listen an ounce. He felt that he needed to yell over her and move on and teach the next príncipe, judgement and kingdoms of glory, i was like bro u really didnt listen to any of that did you. So I threw it in reverse and addressed the need and the lesson turned out awesome still haha. We are hoping to baptize her on the 18th! La rama concepción is pretty wild haha. Haha whats up yall how have you been doing? Its been another week out here in Argentina, kind of, haha half of a week. Its been honestly a really good week. We have had good success and good opportunities to get outside so that was hype! We have had a bunch of super dope lessons and stuff, the members are giving referrals, the people we are teaching are giving referrals, the church website is giving referrals, its good. I was saying a closing prayer with one of our best investigators and i called him amigo, and in English he said no amigo, Brother, and I just about started crying bro that is really what it feels like to be a successful missionary. We have 8 or 9 super solid people that are prolly gonna get baptized in the next 3 or so weeks, so that is hype! But with More missionaries coming in, we are gonna lose a bunch of our areas, and with that most of our investigators, it is so sad. We should keep a couple of em tho. Whats going on everybody?? How have yall been? I literally have so much to talk about this week haha, first real week in Argentina!! Its been a real tough change not even gonna lie, I miss the TFWM like crazy! In reference to the title, my current situation is incredibly similar to my situation when I first started my mission. My comp is literally Argentinian Elder Thurgood haha, but fortunately i have become just about the most patient person in the world during my mission haha. We are also locked down like crazy, the moment we step out of our apartment we have to wear a mask, if you dont you could get arrested. Its actually crazy. We spent the whole week inside doing calls, which was a really difficult adjustment for me. Saturday for the first time in my life the thought crossed my mind, I might have depression hahaha. Whats up yall?? This week has been super crazy haha, but we made it to argentina so thats so hype. It is super bien out here, I already absolutely love it! The people out here are so sweet, and its a beautiful place. Its been a completely different experience from my mission back in the United States, but thats not a bad thing entirely. Everything is super numbers based, which is literally the opposite of the TFWM (Texas Fort Worth Mission). They don't teach the pmg (Preach My Gospel) lessons here, they do a super condensed version of the lessons, and just baptize, even when they arent ready yet, its kinda crazy. We stayed in a hotel all weekend and we have been sitting in meetings most of the time, so i actually dont know what its really like to be a missionary yet, but its been funciona haha. Like a vacation, just 15 elders hanging out at a hotel haha. We are gonna be heading out and starting the work today, so i dont get a p Day today, ill just be on the bus all day. So anyways ...

What is happening yall? Its been a crazy week, and my time here in the Texas fort worth mission is running out. I have like 80 hours left before i hop on the plane to argentina. Kinda crazy. Im gonna miss this place for real. Its been a hype week though. Its been a good week, weve been able to get out and do a bunch of work, thats been hype. None of our main people have been responding to us, which sucks cuz i wont get to say goodbye. Its all good tho. I live with a crazy guy haha uh he walked up to a wall and banged his head on it, and was bleeding everywhere, then we ask him why he did it and it was bc he thought it would be funny.
